Come and join us for Lunch or Dinner at one of Melbourne’s oldest buildings. The Bluestone building comprises three warehouses erected between 1854 for Cleve Bros. Merchants, and is one of the survivors of a large number of warehouses once common to this part of the city. The corner building was designed by architect Leonard Terry. For many years these buildings were occupied by F. Blight & Co wholesale merchants.
Listed in the state register of Historic buildings, the citation reads: “Possibly the finest proportioned bluestone Warehouse remaining.” The Colonial Hotel welcomes you to come in and see us for any event and we’re sure you will agree.
